You are Invited...

For those of you who might not have received an invitation, please don't be offended. This was probably the hardest thing about planning the wedding!! Remembering all the important people to invite. A Beautiful Day at the Temple

Nate and I went to the temple Friday the 13th of June. My amazing sister and sister in law came as my escorts. (Refer to Kati's blog if you are an invited reader) It was the most amazing experience of my life. No words can explain it. I love you Kati and Kath for being there for me and supporting me. I don't know if I could have done it without you!

Picture Day!

Some Engagements have been taken... Not really any for our announcements because it was REALLY windy and Kati found us a perfect location for invitation pictures to be taken, but you can go see what we have taken so far. We are so weird and we love it. Please excuse the ridiculous wind blown look in some of these. My hair was EVERYWHERE!!! Oh well- Photoshop is the bomb! Thanks Kati for being so amazing all the time! Nate and I will never be able to repay you!!!

How it went down...

We're Engaged!

Nate proposed on Easter Sunday. He wrote "will you marry me" on an egg with a crayon and then his mom handed it to me to dye. When I pulled it out I read it and cried! He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!

Hinckley Challenge

So I got an e-mail today and it really inspired me to not only participate, but post it on my blog so others could participate. This is what part of the e-mail said.

"President Hinckley often stressed our making the Book of Mormon part of our lives. He was 97 when he passed away, and we would like to celebrate his life and teachings by reading the Book of Mormon in 97 days."

It think this is something we would all love to do but maybe take it for granted. I think it's the least we can do to honor our dear prophet and everything he has done for our church. Please pass this along if you find it to be worth your time. I thought it was a great idea.
